The focus of the Mikolajewski Lab is a better understanding of externalizing behavior, especially in young children. Through our research we hope to:
- Identify risk factors and/or markers of externalizing behavior, as early in development as possible
- Understand the mechanisms underlying shared etiology and continuity between childhood symptoms and later psychopathology
- Inform the development of individualized approaches to the treatment of children exhibiting disruptive behaviors
